In general when you connect To a Wi-Fi network the router will assign a particular IP address to your laptop or computer so that you are able to connect to the things that you want on the internet. Sometimes you will face these types of problems because the network protocols will work opposite to each other and create such problems.

Based on the network protocols the router and the PC which we are using has a similar connection that is an IP address are the protocols. When these protocols are the IP address changes due to some issues or driver errors.So the Wi-Fi will not have a valid IP configuration.

Here are some solutions to fix this problem:

◆Restart the PC or laptop

When you are facing these types of problems the first step we do is to restart the computer. It is because when you restart the computer it not only close the programs running in the background also it closes all the malware functions working in the background of your system. It is a very common and general step that many people do. After restarting the PC we are facing the problem you can follow the steps below.

◆Uninstall all the drivers that belong to the router or adapter

Here are some basic steps to uninstall the driver

•Go to control panel on your computer

•You can see so many options regarding the the computer

•Click on the “programs” in the control panel

•In the programs can see all the installed softwares in your laptop or computer

•There you can see all the softwares that are installed in your laptop or computer with a computer symbol

•Select all the network adaptor drivers and click uninstall

◆Re installing the adapter drivers that are fully updated

◆manually setting the IP  address In your computer

•Generally every computer assigns The IP address automatically link but manually we can reset through our computer.

•Open control panel in your computer.

• there you will see so many small icons regarding the computer.

•Click on the network and sharing center option.

•And there click on the change adapter settings button Which is in the left side of your computer.

•after clicking the button you will able to see all the networks connected to the computer.

•Now right click on the Wi-Fi collection option with a computer symbol.

•click on the properties

•select the internet protocol version(Based on your network version) And click on the properties at the bottom.

•Select use the following IP address option.Then manually set the address to 192.168,1.x(In the place of X you can enter any number).Set subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 And set default gateway to 192.168.1.1

•under use the Following DNS server addresses And then Set the preferred DNS server 208.67.222.222 and set the alternative DNS server to 208.67.220.220.

•And then click on OK button.

◆Change the wireless SSID passwords

it was reported that You can fix WiFi that doesn’thave a valid IP configuration error by accessing your modem and  changing the Wireless SSID and password.

◆Set the channel width to auto

•Press the windows key + x  in your keyboard.

•Select the network connections from the menu.

•Right click on the wireless  Connections and choose the properties from the menu.

•click the configure button and go to advanced tabs.

•Locate 802.11n channel Width for band 2.4 AnAnd set it to auto 

•Click ok and save the changes.

•Remove the antivirus software

•Antivirus software or a firewall  can also sometimes interrupt your Internet connection And IP adddress configuration failure.Antivirus software is necessary but removing it for temporary easy a better method.To solve this problem you have to temporarily remove the third party antivirus applications.If you want yeah antivirus software you have to install Official and professional software tools in your system. otherwise these temporary third party applications will cause failure problems.

•Renewing your PC’s IP 

If restarting your router or re-enabling The network adapter Doesn’t work you have to Force your computer Into renewing IP lease.You can do that by running several commands via Windows PowerShell.Follow the below steps to renew the IP lease

•Press windows + X key in the keyboard and select windows power shell.

•Run the commands below one after the other While pressing enter key in the keyboard.

• Ipconfig/release

• Ipconfig/flushdns

• Ipconfig/renew

• Exit windows power shell.
